Software download for registered users


The Registration Code and E-Mail address must match the details sent to you via email when the software was purchased. 

If  the original email address or the registration code is forgotten, please write to us with some info to verify (e.g. order number, probable email address).

Note: If you have a registered and active version, the registration code can be found by clicking the 'Register' button on the top tool bar of the program.

How to install and register the software:
  1. Wait until the download is complete...
    • Save the downloaded file into c:\My Downloads
  2. Un-install the evaluation version...
    • Click 'Start...'
    • Choose 'Settings|Control Panel'
    • Double click 'Add/Remove Programs'
    • Select the line that starts 'Webgenie...'
    • Click 'Add/Remove'
  3. Install the full version...
    • Click 'Start...'
    • Click 'Programs|Windows Explorer'
    • Select 'c:\My Downloads'
    • Locate the saved file (in step1) and double click
    • Follow the Installshield instructions to install the program
  4. Run the program...
    • Click 'Start...'
    • Choose 'Programs|WebGenie Software|Program Name'
  5. Click 'Register' on the top toolbar.
  6. Type in the registration code exactly (best to cut and paste from the email)
  7. Click 'Record'
  8. Choose OK to exit the program.
  9. Restart the program (step 4) and make sure that the title bar message saying,
    "WebGenie program name - nn Days remaining ..." has been replaced with
    just the program name.
  10. If using WebGenie's secure server to run the CGIs, then you must remake the catalogs and forms created with the evaluation version.


Note: When updates of the program are released you will be notified via email. The minor updates are free to all registered users. Major version upgrades (e.g. v 2.x to 3.x) are available at heavily discounted prices.
