Upload CGI - To transfer the CGI to the server and set its protection

This window lets you upload the CGI and set its permissions on the web server. You must be able to provide the FTP Username and password to login to the webserver.

Host Name -
The domain name of your webserver. This is automatically taken from the URL of CGI.

FTP Username - The username to login as an FTP user. Your ISP should have given this.

FTP Password - Password for the FTP login.  Check the 'Save Password' button to reload it next time. Note: The password will be saved in raw format. If others have access to your PC it is recommended NOT to save the password.

CGI-bin directory - The relative path, from the login directory, of the cgi-bin. The cgi-bin is usually directly below the login dir, in which case specify it as 'cgi-bin' (no quotes). If it is under another directory (say, html/cgi-bin) specify it as 'html/cgi-bin' (no quotes). DO NOT put the leading / char in front. Also, DO NOT type http://.../cgi-bin

Local File - The CGI file saved on the local PC. This data is automatically filled in.

Remote File - The CGI file to be saved on the web server. This data is automatically filled in.

Click 'Save Settings' when done.

Next step is to Test the CGI.
