• Creates new catalogs 
  Using a products' description file (MS Excel sheet saved as Tab-delimited text file) this program will create catalogs in various formats. Can use own pre-designed template to give a uniform appearance to the catalogs to match your site's look and feel.
  

• Inserts cart controls into an existing pages 
  If the pages describing the products are already made, the program can insert the necessary code to connect the item(s) with the shopping cart - typically as an "Add to Cart" button.
  

• Creates CGI 
  Creates a CGI specifically suited to your server and company settings. This CGI will drive the catalogs and let your customers order products and pay for them securely. The orders are then emailed and/or stored (encrypted) on the server for you to retrieve.

• Uploads the catalogs, CGI, templates, images and JavaScript files 
  The catalogs and CGI, along with all necessary templates and images, are automatically uploaded to your server. You can manually upload these files using third party FTP programs but, to avoid the possibility of any missing file, we recommend that you let the program upload the files at least once initially.
  

• Orders are processed through secure server 
  The CGI will work through a normal or secure server as required. By default, the CGI uses the normal server (e.g. http://) to add items to the cart. Then, when going to the payment desk, it switches to the secure server (e.g. https://). You can specify either steps to use secure server or normal server.
   

• Orders are sent to you or stored 
  By default, the CGI sends the order in an email to your specified address. The order record is also stored (encrypted) on the server. If concerned about sending the order in email, the CGI can be adjusted to disable the emailing of the full order. Instead, it sends a notification to the vendor that an order has been placed and provides a link to retrieve it securely.

  With our software you can build your own site, complete with shopping cart catalogs and CGI, and use it without paying any monthly or yearly fees.

  If you move the web servers, it is a simple matter of copying all files to the new server. The CGIs will in most cases work without any alteration. This means you are in complete control of your ordering system at all times.

  By following a few simple steps - marked clearly to follow a path - your catalogs and CGI can be created in a few minutes.
  
  Such catalogs are editable with your favorite HTML editor or can be used as such on the website.
  

• Customizable CGI to suit any requirement
  One of the strong features of our system is that the CGI is customizable. While the CGI and catalog generation does not require any programming or designing experience, changing the CGI to add/modify functionality requires at least a working knowledge of the programming language, Perl.

  We provide a custom programming service to implement any additional feature that you want in the CGI. The costs for such customization by us are likely to be much lower than if you were to use a third party.

  If the catalog pages are already built, you may want to just insert the cart button into them and convert the page into a catalog. Our software lets you do this easily.
