System Requirements
WebGenie Shopping Cart Professional uses PHP and MySQL. The minimum system requirements are listed below. Most of these are standard on any Linux server, but you may have to double check with your server administrator.

If in doubt, you can always host your cart on our server or let us determine whether the cart can be installed on your server. There may be a small fee involved for the assessment.

Minimum Requirements

• PHP 4.3.x or higher
• MySQL 3.2 and above
• Apache Web Server (http, https)
• 50 MB of free disk space
• GD Library Support (version 2 recommended)
• cURL Library Support
• ZLib Support
• Ioncube

Depending on which distribution is used, a fresh installation can require up to 40 MB of disk space. The database size depends on the number of products, customers and orders stored in it. Accordingly, database space requirements may vary from as little as 1 megabyte for small shops to over 100 megabytes for large stores.

The Cart requires ioncube and this software must be present and running on your server.
