The shopping cart software, all data and all transactions can be resided on one of our secure and fast servers. This is the quickest and easiest way to get the system operational and ensures trouble-free operation at all times.

When residing on our server, the shopping cart and catalogs can use our shared domain name, IP and secure server certificate. The links will use the domain name notation as e.g. 'www.webgenieshoppingcart.com/your_company_name/'. There is no extra fee for this.

Alternatively, you may want to address the cart by your own domain name. This can be arranged by pointing the 'A Record' of your domain - or a subdomain of it - to our server. e.g. 'shop.mycompany.com' can point to our server whereas 'www.mycompany.com' points to another.

In order to use your own domain, there is a requirement to obtain and install a separate SSL certificate and use a separate IP address. We can arrange to obtain and install these for an yearly fee of $160 per domain.

The 30-day moneyback policy applicable to product licence fee does not extend to the SSL certificate costs, as we have to pay for and obtain it from third parties. Therefore, if you choose not to continue after the 30-day money-back period, the above fee will be deducted from the refund.

When residing the cart on our server, the upgrades and updates we release from time to time are automatically applied to your installation. There is no extra fee for these.

2. Hosting on your own server

The entire system can also be resided on your own server. There are some minimum requirements for the server on which you choose to reside the cart. If your server meets these requirements, then installing the cart system is fairly straight-forward and can be done via a web interface.

If you require it, we shall install the software on your server for a one-time fee of $245.

If residing on your own server then, of course, you will have to arrange the secure server certificate. We shall certainly be happy to assist.

There is no ongoing fee if you reside the cart on your server. The licence fee also entitles you to 1 year of upgrades and updates. By paying an yearly fee of $180 you can continue to receive the upgrades and updates. This is, however, optional.
